Attention: Please read the following instructions carefully to ensure using e-paper display in the right way. These instructions should be properly kept for future reference.

Requirement of storage and inspection

● Temperature range: 23±3℃                                     Humidity range: 55±10%RH

● Please keep the EPD in a white pattern with the front facing up and flat. Otherwise, there may be inerasable ghosting.

● Tips: To ensure the quality of EPD, please use it as soon as possible after unpacking.

Requirements of assembly

● Temperature range: 23±3℃                                     Humidity range: 55±10%RH

●  Please remove the protection film on EPD before assembly.

● EPD product is fragile. Please handle with care and avoid too much pressure during assembly.

● The EPD IC is easily to be damaged by static electricity irreparebly. Please strictly prevent static electricity during assembly, operation, use and storage. ESD should be controlled below ±200V

Requirements of operation condition and design notice

● Prevent EPD from direct sunlight, which may damage the film

● Please strictly refer to the specification when designing driving circuit. Any unfit components may reduce the lifespan of EPD.

● The refresh intervals should be at least 180s (except partial refresh mode), but for tri-color EPD full refresh at least every 24 hours.

● It is necessary to full refresh EPD after its 5 times of partial refresh. Otherwise, there may be ghosting on the screen.

● It is necessary to set EPD into deep sleep mode after every refresh.

● The bending position of the FPC should be 1mm or so close to the glass substrate. It is not allowed to flex other part of the FPC.
