Wide-Temperature E-Paper Display Characteristics

Designed for Extreme Environments, but Content Adaptation is Required

This product utilizes wide-temperature e-paper technology, enabling stable operation in environments ranging from -25°C to 50°C. However, due to the physical properties of e-paper, high-density dynamic graphics (such as scatter plots and line charts) may not appear as clear as on standard e-paper displays.

Recommended Applications: Best suited for static text, simple icons, data tables, barcodes, and other high-contrast, low-refresh-rate content.

Why Scatter Plot Sucks

E-Ink displays rely on microcapsule charge flipping to render content. With low refresh rates and limited grayscale levels, high-density scatter plots can appear grainy, especially at 30-50°C. To enhance visibility, consider simplifying the graphics or emphasizing key data points.

Disclaimer:
Due to the characteristics of e-ink technology, complex graphics may have display limitations. Please ensure it meets your specific usage needs before purchasing. For technical support or customized solutions, please contact customer service.

Explanation of the refresh process (Refresh time: the entire period from when the screen first reacts until the image stabilizes):

1. Full update: During the refresh process, the screen may flicker multiple times.
2.Fast update: The screen flickers once during the refresh process.
3. Partial update: The screen does not flicker during the refresh process.

Note: When using Fast update and Partial update, it is recommended to perform a Full-Screen Refresh after every five consecutive operations. This helps reduce the accumulation of screen ghosting.
