Monochrome e-paper and tri color e-paper are generally products of the same series, and the driving IC is basically the same. There are several different methods:

1. Discrimination by appearance
Monochrome e-paper conductive silver paste is generally white or black around, while tri color e-paper is generally light red.

2. Discrimination by refresh
The refresh time of monochrome e-paper is generally about 3s, while that of tricolor e-paper is at least more than 10s. At the same time, obvious red flickering will be seen during the refresh process.
